Caramelized pear-pecan tarts

Super quick and easy!

Perfect when you feel like having something tasty, but don't want to have to wait for hours for your cake. Or if spontaneous visitors are at your door. You can easily get these tarts on the table and your house will smell wonderful!

We use ready-made filo pastry for the bottom. Less healthy than making a dough yourself, for example from oatmeal and coconut oil, but this makes these cakes very quick and easy. And filo pastry contains a lot less fat than puff pastry.

We use pears here, because they were now fully available and in season. But you can also use other stone fruit, such as apples, nectarines or peaches. And make a combination with other nuts, such as hazelnuts, walnuts or almonds.
